Ingredients: (single batch/self
defense)
1 cup margarine, room temp
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky, personal preference)
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Combine sugars, margarine, peanut
butter, blend till fluffy. Add eggs, blend well. Sift flour, measure,
sift again into separate mixing bowl with baking powder and salt
included. Then add to mixture, blend well. Roll dough into 3 inch
diameter logs in waxed paper. Chill thoroughly, preferably overnight.
Dough can be stored chilled for up to a week.
Preheat oven to 400°. Slice, place
on cookie sheet, bake 8 - 10 minutes. Remove from sheet, place on a
towel to cool, slap snitching hands until you're ready to serve.
