Ingredients:
3 cups One Minute Oats
1 cup chopped pecans
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup milk (to make it richer 1/4 cup milk, 1/4 Pet milk)
1 stick margarine
1 tsp vanilla extract
In a stainless bowl, mix the oats and
pecans.
In a sauce pan, stir together sugar,
coconut, milk, margarine, and vanilla. Bring to roiling boil and
maintain for one minute.
Remove the mix from the stovetop and
pour into the bowl with the oats and pecans. Stir immediately and
very quickly. When stiffening, drop with a teaspoon onto waxed paper.
Allow to set. Guard vigillantly.
For a chocolate variation, stir in 1/4
cup cocoa to the sauce pan before cooking. Coconut is optional in
this version.
