Ingredients:
3 apples (peeled, cored, sliced thin)
1/2 cup apple cider
1/2 tsp cinnamon (ground)
1/8 tsp allspice
1/8 tsp clove
Place all ingredients in a sauce pan,
bring to a boil. Simmer until apple slices soften (about 10 minutes).
Cool until warm and then puree in a blender. Makes about two cups.
Serve while still warm. (Will refrigerate for three days.)
