COMPOSITES

Composites are images that are assembled from existing pieces, most often from an image scan or other image file.
Here, manipulation is the keyword, as opposed to being purely creative as in paint files. Colorization, copy/paste/paste into, all sorts of tools for juggling what already exists into something else entirely.
This is one area that makes digital graphics work such a joy.
