In 1992 Dominique made the Olympic team and came home with a bronze team medal. The Olympics woke Dominique up. At the 1993 World Championships she scored fourth all-around and a silver for bars and a silver for beam. At the U.S. Championships she won gold medals for the vault, and beam. The silver for the all-around and floor exercise, and a bronze for the bars. In 1994, at the American Cup, she struck gold in all-around, floor, vault, bars, and beam. At the U.S. Championships, she took home the gold in every event, the first time since 1969. At the 1996 U.S. Nationals, Dominique was back, she won gold on floor, vault, beam, and bars. At the 1996 Olympics an unforgettable team gold, and a bronze on the floor exercise.
