At the 1992 U.S. Championships she came home with the Gold medal on the balance beam in the junior division. She also qualified for the U.S. Junior Nationals team. At the 1993 U.S. championships she finished seventh all-around in the juniors division. In 1994 she won gold medals for: all-around, floor exercise, and vault. Bronzes on beam and bars in the junior division. In 1995 she won gold and bronze medals at the Reese's International Gymnastics Cup. At the American Classic, a gold, a silver, and two bronzes. The 1995 VISA Challange was a good meet, she brought home her first all-around gold in an International Competition, plus two other golds, a silver and two bronzes. At the U.S. Championships in 1995, she won a gold medal all-around, a silver on floor and and a bronze on vault.
