In 1992 Kerri was on the bronze winning Olympic team in Barcelona. She was the youngest on the team. At the 1995 U.S. Olympic Festival, Kerri won golds in the all-around and uneven bars, and tied for the bronze on beam. She made the 1996 Olympic trials, which gave her a spot on the Olympic team. Kerri was the one that won that gold medal. Without her heroic effort, the team may not have struck gold.
