The 1992 Olympics were just a warmup for Shannon. (bringing home 5 medals). At the 1993 World Championships, she won three gold medals, including the gold for all-around. At the U.S. Olympic Festival in San Antonio, she set or tied seven Gymnastics records. At the 1993 American Cup, she cleaned the events. She concluded the 1993 season by winning the all-around at the U.S. Championships, along with gold medals on the bars and floor, a silver medal on the vault, and a bronze medal on beam. At the 1994 Goodwill Games, She grasped 5 medals. At the 1994 Worlds, she won the all-around title and the gold on the beam. At the 1995 Pan-American Games, Shannon won the Gold all-around, Gold for bars and floor, and silver on vault. At the 1995 World Championships she only came home with a Team Bronze. 1996 Olympics, Team gold and gold on the balance beam.
